A 14-year-old minor was arrested in Kichevo yesterday following a report that he inappropriately touched a four-year-old girl. The incident allegedly occurred at the neighbors’ residence.

Police from the Kichevo Police Station made the arrest based on the prior report.

An official interview was conducted with the minor at the Kichevo Police Station in the presence of his parent, a representative from the Center for Social Work, and a juvenile attorney.

Authorities have notified a public prosecutor regarding the incident. Following a complete investigation, a report will be filed for the criminal offense of “rape of a child who has not reached the age of 15,” as outlined in Article 188 paragraph 5 of the Criminal Code.
