The State Commission for Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) has affirmed its continued operation in accordance with the Law on Prevention of Corruption and Conflict of Interests, despite the inclusion of its president, Tatjana Dimitrovska, as a suspect in the “Aditiv” case.
The announcement follows reports that Dimitrovska is suspected of disclosing official secrets via messaging applications, such as “Viber” and “WhatsApp”, to another defendant in the “Aditiv” case. The alleged disclosures involved information about the initiation of procedures, decisions against companies and individuals accused in the case, and data related to property checks.
The Criminal Court has taken measures against Dimitrovska, including confiscating her passport and imposing a ban on certain work activities. This ban restricts her from accessing items, mail, and other documentation related to the work of the SCPC. Additionally, she is prohibited from voting or distributing items.
The SCPC maintains that it remains transparent, open to the public, and ready to cooperate with the competent authorities throughout this process.
