Angel Saramakov, a police officer from Veles who was part of Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski’s security detail, has been detained for 30 days. This action follows his arrest in Veles and the subsequent discovery of official materials and other items.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has stated that Saramakov will face charges related to “disclosure of official secrets.”

Boban Utkovski, the director of the Shutka prison, has verified that Saramakov has been brought to the prison to serve his detention.

Saramakov’s arrest occurred in a parking lot outside a Veles hotel. A search of his vehicle revealed a backpack containing official documents from the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Further searches at various locations led to the seizure of electronic devices, official documents, and other items considered pertinent to the ongoing investigation.
