American Balkan Chamber of Commerce Launches to Foster US-Balkan Business

The American Balkan Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) celebrated its launch at the “Penn Club,” hosting diplomats from the Balkans, business leaders, and academics to promote business, trade, and investment between the United States and the Balkan region.

ABCC President Eliza Prenjov shared her vision for a platform connecting US and Balkan companies for collaboration and growth. Commissioner Edward Mermelstein of New York City emphasized the city’s commitment to supporting global business initiatives.

The Macedonian Ambassador to the USA, Zoran Popov, along with Ambassadors Sven Alkalaj, Ilir Dugolli, and Jovan Mirković, participated in a panel moderated by Dr. Juan Carlos Mercado to discuss business opportunities and partnership development in the Balkan region.

A second panel, moderated by Aleksandar Mitreski from ABCC, featured Marjan Bojadziev, Vladimir Bozovic, and Admir Kulin, who provided strategies for increasing competitiveness, attracting foreign investment, and expanding exports.

Upcoming events announced by Kiril Savovski, director of the American Balkan Chamber of Commerce, include forums on Balkan tourism, US-Balkan business expansion, energy solutions, artificial intelligence, and educational exchange.
