The Alliance for Albanians claims Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski and SDSM leader Venko Filipche confirmed suspicions and revealed plans in their statements after today’s meeting.
The party says they agreed to form working groups in healthcare, energy, and “justice.” The Alliance for Albanians alleges this agreement bypasses current Minister Arben Taravari in healthcare reform and serves the interests of Mickoski, the owner of hydropower plants, in energy. They further claim both Filipche and Mickoski have a shared interest in avoiding responsibility for past scandals, including Kochani, the Modular Hospital in Tetovo, Besa Trans, Durmo Tours, and other tragedies.
The Alliance for Albanians asserts this agreement ignores Albanians and their government partners. They also believe the agreement aims to hide the truth from citizens, capture the system, install a dictatorship, and destroy existing achievements.
The party questions the future of the retrial for the Modular Hospital in Tetovo, given the alleged involvement of a responsible party in leading the “justice” reform process.
