Accusations of Hypocrisy and Profiteering Against Trade Unionists

VMRO-DPMNE accuses trade unionists Ivan Peshevski and Slobodan Trendafilov of prioritizing personal gain over workers’ rights, alleging high salaries, benefits, and privileges. The party claims Peshevski and Trendafilov are exploiting workers while feigning concern for their well-being, with whistleblowers exposing their alleged lies and manipulation.

Peshevski’s salary is reportedly three times higher than the minimum wage, and he allegedly earned 1.3 million denars through salary and contracts in 2024 and early 2025. VMRO-DPMNE asserts this amount equals what a worker in his union might earn in four years.

The party concludes that Peshevski and Trendafilov are not genuinely fighting for workers’ rights but are using trade union activity for personal enrichment. They are portrayed as self-serving individuals whose actions are no longer credible to the workers they claim to represent.
