The Municipality of Ilinden has initiated the construction of a new urban park in the village of Marino, aimed at enhancing public spaces and providing recreational areas for residents. The park, spanning approximately 5,600 square meters, will be situated between streets “531”, “532”, and “534”.
The project encompasses comprehensive landscaping, including the installation of street lighting, fountains, benches, waste bins, parking spaces, pedestrian paths, and a service street. A key feature of the park will be the division into distinct zones, featuring a green space, an open square suitable for walking and community events, a centrally located fountain surrounded by flower planters, and a dedicated children’s playground equipped with recreational facilities.
Aleksandar Georgievski, the Mayor of Ilinden Municipality, visited the construction site during its initial phase. He highlighted the importance of urbanization and spatial planning in creating modern and high-quality environments for residents to relax and enjoy leisure activities. The development of the urban park reflects the municipality’s ongoing commitment to improving the quality of life for its citizens by providing accessible and well-designed public spaces.
