Approximately 100 divers from the Amphora Diving Center and Balkan diving clubs will participate in an underwater ecological cleanup of Lake Ohrid this Saturday. The action aims to protect biodiversity, raise awareness, and preserve the natural beauty of the lake.

The cleanup, organized by the Amphora Diving Center from Ohrid, will focus on removing solid waste from the lake bottom. This marks the fourth time the center has organized such a large-scale effort.

The initiative is scheduled to commence at 11:00 AM at the City Port of Ohrid. Divers will target several locations across the lake.

Identified cleanup locations include City Port, Ljubanishta, Bay of Bones, Camp Gradishte, and Kalishta. Divers will concentrate on extracting plastic, metal, and other forms of waste from the lakebed in these areas.
