The Municipality of Centar is offering subsidies of 10,000 denars to young residents turning 18 this year to help cover the cost of taking a driving test. This initiative aims to promote road safety and responsible driving among young people in the community.

Mayor Goran Gerasimovski emphasized the importance of proper training and education for new drivers. He stated that taking a driving test is crucial for acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills to make informed decisions on the road, respect other drivers, and remain calm in various traffic situations.

The subsidy is available to young people who: will turn 18 this year, reside in the Municipality of Centar for at least one year, and enroll in a driving school located within the municipality.

Applicants must submit the following documents to the Municipality of Centar archive: a subsidy request form, a copy of their ID card, a copy of their transaction account (with a tax number from the Public Revenue Office), proof of payment to the driving school, and proof that the driving school is registered in the Municipality of Centar.

The public call for applications is open until the allocated funds are exhausted, or until December 31, 2025. The subsidy is a one-time benefit.
