Government Representatives Visit Štip and Karbinci to Support Local Development Projects

Government officials, including the Prime Minister and Minister of Local Self-Government, visited Štip and Karbinci to inspect ongoing infrastructure projects and reaffirm their commitment to supporting local development. The visits highlighted significant investments aimed at improving the quality of life for citizens in the eastern region.

In Štip, Minister Zlatko Perinski and Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski met with Mayor Ivan Jordanov and municipal council members to discuss current projects and the municipality’s development strategy. Discussions centered on enhancing the living standards for the local population.

The officials inspected the construction of the bypass project, a substantial 141 million denars investment funded through a government initiative. They also reviewed progress on the “Partizanska” boulevard, financed by municipal funds, and attended the opening of the “Markerspace” laboratory at “Goce Delchev” University. This modern laboratory is intended to foster innovation, research, and development among students, academics, startups, and businesses.

During their visit to Karbinci, the government representatives examined the reconstruction of a service street in the village of Tarinci, another project supported by government funding.

Mayors Jordanov and Paunov expressed their appreciation for the government’s support, emphasizing the positive impact of these investments on their municipalities. Jordanov noted that Štip would receive over 10 million euros in investments, marking the highest level of financial support in the city’s history. Paunov highlighted that Karbinci is also receiving unprecedented financial assistance, enabling the realization of important projects for the benefit of its citizens.

Minister Perinski affirmed the government’s ongoing commitment to supporting local self-governments, emphasizing that these projects aim to create modern living conditions in Macedonia.

Prime Minister Mickoski assured that government support would continue in the coming years, irrespective of the political affiliations of local mayors, with a focus on improving the quality of life for all citizens across the country.
