A newborn infant was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Children’s Clinic within the “Mother Teresa” clinic complex in Skopje early yesterday morning.

Police were notified of the incident at 07:15 yesterday. The 25-year-old mother from Skopje reportedly gave birth at home in the early morning hours before being transported to the clinic with the baby.

A public prosecutor has been informed, and an autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death.
