Two new services from the Basic Courts are now accessible to citizens through the national portal for electronic services, uslugi.gov.mk. These services include the Certificate of criminal record for natural persons and the Certificate of criminal record for legal entities.

According to Minister of Digital Transformation, Stefan Andonovski, these services represent a significant step in digitizing essential citizen services.

These certificates are among the most frequently requested from the basic courts. The digitization aims to streamline access to the package for non-conviction.

The digitized package also includes the Certificate of prohibition to perform a profession, activity, or duty. These documents are commonly required for employment, public call applications, educational processes, and various legal and administrative procedures.

The Ministry’s objective is to eliminate the need for citizens to spend time waiting in lines at court counters and archives. The goal is for citizens to spend more time with family and friends, and contribute to the economy, instead of waiting in front of administrative counters.
