The Municipality of Aerodrom has initiated a comprehensive reconstruction of Banovina Park, situated in Lisiche. This project aims to revitalize the popular recreational space for residents of all ages.

A key aspect of the reconstruction involves a complete renovation of the park’s fountain. Both the hydraulic system and the exterior appearance of the fountain will be entirely updated.

Furthermore, the park’s gazebos, popular spots for relaxation throughout the year, are set to be refurbished. These gazebos will be enhanced with the addition of chess tables, encouraging social interaction among visitors. The park will also benefit from new horticultural landscaping, creating a more pleasant environment for residents.

The children’s play area is also receiving significant attention. Completely new play elements are being installed to provide a safe and engaging space for children. Worn-out and non-functional benches and trash cans throughout the park are being replaced with new ones.

Looking ahead, the Municipality of Aerodrom plans to renovate the church located within the park. The renovated church will be consecrated and opened for use by worshippers. The Municipality of Aerodrom has announced plans to reconstruct all parks in the municipality in the future.
