Two individuals, I.A. (52) from Labunishta and A.Dz. (35) from Podgorci, face criminal charges for forgery and fraud related to the attempted re-registration of a hunting association. The Ministry of Interior reports that the suspects allegedly aimed to take control of a hunting association from Vevchani during 2024.
The suspects are accused of collecting signatures and creating false statements from residents of nearby villages. They allegedly obtained a forged document and seal from a non-existent association and falsified signatures of supposed members.
According to the police report, the falsified documents were submitted to the Central Register in Tetovo without notarization. Despite the irregularities, authorities at the Central Register allegedly approved a change to the statute and subsequently re-registered the hunting association.
Following the re-registration, the suspects allegedly began managing the association and issuing hunting permits without proper authorization, specifically lacking a seal and signature.
