North Macedonia and the Czech Republic are intensifying cooperation on green transition, renewable energy, digitalization, and technological innovation. This commitment was solidified at the Energy and Technology Forum held in Skopje, organized by the Czech Embassy.

The forum served as a platform for exchanging ideas and initiating collaborations between institutions, businesses, and experts from both nations. Key discussions centered on achieving a green transition and leveraging technological advancements for sustainable development.

Izet Medziti, Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning and First Deputy Prime Minister, emphasized the importance of integrating innovation with sustainable spatial planning and international cooperation. He stated that this strategy is crucial for creating a healthy, resilient, and competitive environment for future generations.

The event underscored the mutual willingness of North Macedonia and the Czech Republic to pursue technological progress, energy sustainability, and economic development through joint efforts.
