Foreign Minister Timcho Mucunski met separately with Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Chargé d’Affaires of the Qatari Embassy in Skopje, and Satibaldi Burshakov, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Skopje, to discuss strengthening bilateral relations, with a focus on economic cooperation.

During the meeting with Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, both parties reaffirmed the traditionally positive relationship between North Macedonia and Qatar and expressed a mutual dedication to boosting political dialogue and high-level visits.

The discussions also highlighted the importance of enhancing economic and trade ties and attracting more Qatari direct investments into North Macedonia.

In a separate meeting with Satibaldi Burshakov, Mucunski acknowledged the strong bilateral relations between North Macedonia and Kazakhstan.

Both parties emphasized the need for further developing these relations, especially in the economic sector, and strengthening overall cooperation.

Mucunski and Burshakov also voiced satisfaction with the successful multilateral collaboration and mutual support within international organizations, and they exchanged opinions on current issues of shared interest, expressing hope for continued and intensified cooperation between the two countries.
