The Municipality of Karposh has issued 26 fines and 17 warnings following over 50 on-site inspections conducted by construction and communal inspectors, accompanied by communal wardens, over the past week. These actions were taken with the full application of legal powers and regulations.
The construction inspector issued four fines ranging from 500 to 3,000 euros to legal entities and responsible individuals. The communal inspector issued five fines of 300 euros to responsible individuals and five fines of 1,500 euros to legal entities. Simultaneously, five warnings were issued, and deficiencies were immediately corrected on-site.
Communal wardens issued 12 fines of 40 euros, along with 12 warnings. The municipality has stated that if the necessary corrections are not made following these warnings, the communal inspector will become involved, as their fines are significantly higher by law.
The Municipality of Karposh is urging all investors and construction companies operating within its territory to respect legal regulations and prioritize environmental protection, particularly when working in residential areas. The municipality emphasizes that illegal construction will not be tolerated.
