Five people were injured in a traffic accident in downtown Skopje on April 19th at approximately 9:15 p.m. The collision occurred at the intersection of “11 Oktomvri”, “Dame Gruev” and “Filip Vtori Makedonski” streets.

One person sustained serious injuries in the accident. S.J., a 20-year-old passenger from Skopje in the “BMW” vehicle, was the most seriously hurt.

The accident involved a “Volkswagen Golf” driven by an 18-year-old from Skopje, identified as A.N., and a “BMW” car driven by a 24-year-old from Struga, identified as T.K. The “BMW” had Czech markings.

Both drivers sustained injuries in the collision. Two additional passengers in the “Volkswagen”, A.F. (20) and M.R. (19), both from Skopje, also sustained injuries.

All injured individuals were transported to the “St. Naum Ohridski” City General Hospital for treatment. Their injuries were confirmed at the hospital.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident. An inspection team from SVR Skopje was dispatched to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
