A 59-year-old driver from Livada, Struga, was arrested on April 19, 2025, at approximately 12:10 p.m. for dangerous overtaking on the Gostivar-Kichevo highway. Police officers from the Gostivar Police Station stopped and detained the individual, identified as F.S., near a quarry.

According to the Ministry of Interior, F.S. was driving a “Volkswagen” passenger vehicle with Struga license plates when the incident occurred. The driver overtook a long line of vehicles, resulting in a significant risk to traffic safety.

Authorities have stated that an appropriate submission will follow after the case is fully documented.
