The Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Kočani has requested precautionary measures for two former directors of the State Market Inspectorate (DPI) suspected in connection with the fire at the “Puls” cabaret club. This request was submitted to the Basic Court in Kočani.

The prosecution seeks to replace the previously imposed house arrest with these new measures. The decision is based on an assessment of the legal grounds for security and the current stage of investigations concerning the DPI’s involvement.

Additionally, precautionary measures have been requested for another individual linked to the disco. This is the first time measures have been proposed for this person, who was previously undergoing medical treatment.

The request for precautionary measures for the individual from the disco is based on their present health condition and the need for continued medical care.
