A motorcycle accident near Skopje resulted in the death of the driver and serious injuries to the passenger. The incident occurred yesterday around 6:25 PM on the local road between the villages of Kopanica and Bojane.

S.S. (38) from the village of Bukovik, near Skopje, was driving a “Suzuki” motorcycle with Skopje license plates when he ran off the road. The driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

A doctor from the Emergency Medical Service pronounced the death. The body was sent for an autopsy by order of a public prosecutor.

S.J. (41) from the village of Kopanica, near Skopje, who was the passenger, sustained serious bodily injuries. His condition was confirmed at the “Mother Teresa” Clinics Complex.

An inspection was conducted at the scene by a public prosecutor and an investigation team from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs.
