A traffic accident in the Strumica region resulted in multiple injuries yesterday. The incident occurred at 05:40 on regional road 1402, specifically at the intersection for the villages of Bansko, Gabrovo, and Murtino.

The collision involved two vehicles: a Volkswagen Touran, driven by N.M. (33) from Strumica, and an Opel, driven by G.N. (32) from the village of Koleshino. One passenger, E.A. (53) from Strumica, sustained severe bodily injuries.

In addition to E.A.’s serious injuries, both drivers and several other passengers in the Volkswagen vehicle sustained bodily injuries. Those injured from the Volkswagen were identified as S.M. (32) from Strumica, S.N. (49) from the village of Bansko, A.A. (52) from Radovish, A.A. (28) from Strumica, and a 17-year-old from Strumica. Medical confirmation of the injuries was provided by the Strumica Medical Center.

Following the accident, a team from the Strumica Police Department conducted an inspection of the scene.
