Construction has been halted on a new high-rise building in Gjorche Petrov after a wall was breached in a neighboring residential building during construction. An authorized construction inspector from the Municipality of Gjorche Petrov conducted an immediate inspection and on-site investigation following the incident.

The breach occurred during the pouring of concrete for a slab intended for vertical communication on the east side of the construction site, which borders a residential building located at “Partizanski odredi” No. 165. A portion of the facade wall of the neighboring building was damaged.

Following the inspection, irregularities were discovered, leading to the creation of a Record of Inspection. The municipality has issued a decision mandating that the investors immediately cease all further construction of the category two building, designated for A2 – collective residential use, at street “Partizanski Odredi” no. bb.

The investors are also required to restore the facade wall of the adjacent building to its original condition within five days. Furthermore, they must immediately ensure the safety of the surrounding construction area.
