Minister of Energy, Mining, and Mineral Resources Sanja Bozinovska and AD ESM CFO Ivan Stojanovski met with KfW Bank Director for Southeast Europe and Turkey Klaus Müller at the ESG Adria Summit 2025 in Tivat, Montenegro. The meeting centered on the advancement of strategic projects such as the second phase of the Bogdanci wind farm, the “Bitola 2” photovoltaic power plant, and the third phase of revitalizing large hydroelectric power plants. KfW Bank reaffirmed its dedication as a strategic partner and pledged continued support for new ventures, including the “Bitola 3” photovoltaic power plant and other investments in renewable energy.

New technical assistance initiatives to enhance AD ESM’s internal capacities for strategic planning and investment projects were also discussed. The projects, backed by KfW, contribute to expanding renewable energy sources and ensuring long-term energy stability and security. Minister Bozinovska emphasized that these projects not only increase domestic electricity production but also strengthen the country’s energy system, highlighting the significance of the partnership with KfW Bank in the transition to sustainable energy.
