A 31-year-old man from Kumanovo, D.A., was arrested yesterday at 4:45 p.m. by officers from the Traffic Safety Police Station at the Kumanovo Police Department. The arrest followed a traffic incident on “Teofan Ekonomov” Street in Kumanovo.

D.A. was driving a “Seat Leon” when he collided with a “Hamachi” moped and a “Volkswagen Golf,” all vehicles bearing Kumanovo license plates. Subsequent investigation revealed that D.A. was driving under the influence of alcohol. A blood alcohol test registered 1.85 per mille.

Once the case is fully documented, a report will be filed against D.A. in accordance with Article 297-a of the Criminal Code, pertaining to “reckless driving of a motor vehicle.”
