The Financial Police Department has filed a criminal complaint with the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office Kumanovo against three individuals for abuse of official position, embezzlement, and negligent work, resulting in significant financial damage.

The complaint names the manager of Pin Petrol, an employee of AD for postal traffic “Post of North Macedonia,” and an employee of the Public Enterprise for State Roads.

The manager of Pin Petrol is suspected of failing to remit payments to the Public Enterprise for State Roads between August 1, 2019, and September 30, 2024.

An employee of “Post of North Macedonia” is accused of misappropriating funds collected as compensation for public roads, intending to illegally enrich herself instead of depositing the money into the account of the Public Enterprise for State Roads.

An employee of the Public Enterprise for State Roads is accused of negligent oversight, failing to properly monitor and control discrepancies in payments from the Pin Petrol Kumanovo technical inspection station, causing damage to the Public Enterprise for State Roads’ budget.

The actions of the defendants are alleged to have caused a total of 22,294,343.00 denars in damages to the budget of the Public Enterprise for State Roads.
