During intensified traffic controls across the country, police officers identified 841 traffic violations. Improper parking was the most frequent violation, with 270 instances.

Authorities sanctioned 214 drivers for speeding and 82 individuals for driving without a license. Additionally, five measures were imposed for driving under the influence of alcohol, and six sanctions were issued for running a red light.

Other violations included pedestrians committing offenses, 65 instances of not wearing a seat belt, 28 cases of unauthorized mobile phone use while driving, and six motorcyclists penalized for not wearing helmets. Police also removed 17 unregistered vehicles and eight technically defective vehicles from traffic.

The Ministry of Interior has announced that traffic controls will continue in the coming days.
