Four Kochani Fire Victims to Be Discharged from Sofia Hospital

Four patients receiving treatment at the “Pirogov” hospital in Sofia, Bulgaria, will be discharged today, according to Maya Argirova, head of the Clinic for Burns and Plastic Surgery. These four patients are reported to be in good condition.

While four individuals are being released, four other patients will remain at the Sofia hospital for continued treatment. Doctors are closely monitoring the remaining patients through laboratory tests to assess their clinical condition. Future surgical interventions will be considered based on their progress.

The fire at the “Puls” disco in Kochani on March 16 resulted in 61 fatalities and approximately 200 injuries. Following the incident, some of the injured were transported to other countries for medical care. Bulgaria admitted 16 injured individuals for hospitalization. Eight of these patients were admitted to the Pirogov hospital, while three each were taken to hospitals in Plovdiv and Varna.
