A 45-year-old man from Kumanovo, identified as V.P., was arrested early yesterday morning on “Gjorche Petrov” Street in Kumanovo for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Police officers from the Police Station for Road Traffic Safety at the SIA Kumanovo stopped V.P. while he was driving a “Peugeot” passenger vehicle with Kumanovo registration plates.

A subsequent test revealed that V.P. had a blood alcohol level of 2.34 per mille, exceeding the legal limit.

Following a complete investigation, a report will be filed against him in accordance with Article 297-a of the Criminal Code, pertaining to “reckless driving of a motor vehicle.”
