The Auto Moto Association of Macedonia (AMSM) has announced a ban for all vehicles on the Struga – Qafë Thanë border crossing.
Heavy goods vehicles are restricted on the Mavrovo – Debar, Tetovo – Popova Shapka (with mandatory winter equipment for other vehicles), Gostivar – Kichevo (Strazha), Bitola – Resen (Gjavato), and Ohrid – Resen (Bukovo) routes. Passenger vehicle traffic has normalized on the A3 highway Ohrid – Resen through the Bukovo pass since 9:20 PM.
The Krusevo – Dolno Divjaci village – Kochisha village road is closed to all traffic due to safety concerns; the Pusta Reka village -Krusevo regional road is an alternative.
Current road conditions indicate wet roads on state routes with moderate traffic intensity outside urban areas. There are no significant delays reported at border crossings on the Macedonian side.
Motorists are advised to adjust their speed, adhere to traffic regulations, and exercise caution, particularly in valleys, river valleys, and gorges prone to landslides such as the Katlanovo – Veles, Mavrovo – Debar – Struga, Vinica – Berovo, and Kochani – Delchevo sections.
