Two individuals, D.J. from Shtip and S.G. from Sokolarci, Cheshinovo-Obleshevo, were arrested today in separate incidents for driving under the influence of alcohol. During routine traffic stops in Shtip and Probishtip, police discovered that D.J. had a blood alcohol level of 1.55 per mille while S.G. registered 1.64 per mille. Both drivers were immediately removed from their vehicles and taken into police custody.

D.J., 35, was apprehended while driving a “Touran” with Shtip license plates. S.G., 45, was stopped while operating a “Golf” with Kochani license plates.

Following a thorough investigation, both individuals will face charges under Article 297-a of the Criminal Code, which pertains to reckless driving of a motor vehicle.
