The Anti-Corruption Commission concluded its review of the property declaration form submitted by MP and SDSM president, Venko Filipche, finding no discrepancies.
The commission’s investigation, initiated last year, involved thorough checks with various institutions, including the Cadastre, the Central Registry, the Ministry of the Interior, the Public Revenue Office, and several banks. These checks confirmed that Filipche’s declaration form was complete and accurate, with no evidence of concealed property data.
The inquiry was launched following accusations from VMRO-DPMNE, the then-ruling party, alleging that Filipche’s property holdings had increased significantly since his tenure as Minister of Health and that he had failed to declare certain assets in previous filings. VMRO-DPMNE had stated their intention to file a formal complaint with the Anti-Corruption Commission regarding these allegations.
