Yesterday’s traffic controls across the country resulted in 794 payment orders issued by police officers. A significant portion, 269, were for improper parking.
In addition, 163 sanctions were issued for speeding and 69 measures for driving without a license. Authorities also issued 57 measures for not wearing a seat belt, 20 sanctions for using a mobile phone while driving, and 33 sanctions for pedestrians.
Furthermore, three sanctions were given for not wearing a protective helmet, and seven for driving under the influence of alcohol. Twelve vehicles were excluded from traffic due to technical defects, and 10 for lacking valid registration. The Ministry of the Interior has announced that these traffic controls will persist in the coming days.
