Increased salaries in public healthcare commenced on April 1st, with a net linear increase of 2,500 denars for all employees. When combined with a previous raise in November, the total increase reaches 4,815 denars, and 6,200 denars for nurses.

The average salary will be about 50,200 denars, which represent an increase of 10.49 percent for October, and cumulatively, 17.18 percent. With an inflation rate of around 3.5 percent, the real growth for 2024/25 will be approximately 9.4 percent, compared to only 3.8 percent between 2021 and 2023.

These salary increases and positive changes signify a positive trajectory for Macedonia.
