President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova visited the “Pirogov” hospital in Sofia to check on Macedonian citizens injured in the Kochani fire. She learned that the eight patients are in stable condition and are recovering well under the care of experienced doctors.

During her visit, the President spoke with Bulgarian Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Silvi Kirilov, hospital Deputy Director Prof. Dr. Nikolay Gabrovski, and Head of Burns and Plastic Surgery Assoc. Dr. Maya Argirova. She was assured that the patients are receiving constant supervision and that their recovery is progressing.

Siljanovska-Davkova also spoke with relatives of the patients, who praised the hospital staff and expressed happiness at the improved condition of their loved ones.

The President also met with Bulgarian medical teams who provided emergency assistance and expressed her gratitude for their dedication, humanity, and professionalism, highlighting the values of medical ethics, solidarity, and friendship between the Bulgarian and Macedonian people.
