Traffic Police Issue Over One Thousand Fines in Two Days

Traffic police issued 1,296 fines to drivers and pedestrians over two days as part of intensified traffic controls throughout the country.

Authorities recorded 393 parking violations and 196 instances of speeding.

Additionally, police issued 101 fines for driving without a license and 199 sanctions against pedestrians for various offenses.

Other violations included 72 instances of not wearing a seatbelt, six motorcyclists not wearing helmets, and 32 drivers using mobile phones while driving.

Sixteen drivers were removed from traffic for driving under the influence of alcohol, and eight fines were issued for running red lights.

Authorities removed 38 vehicles from traffic, including 14 due to technical malfunctions and 24 for being unregistered.

The Ministry of Interior urges citizens to respect traffic rules and regulations to increase traffic safety.
