Several countries in the region are affected by US President Donald Trump’s “reciprocal tariff” decision, which includes over 180 countries and territories. Serbia faces the highest tariff in the region at 37 percent. Bosnia and Herzegovina follows with a 35 percent tariff, Macedonia with 33 percent, and Croatia, an EU member, with 20 percent. Montenegro, Albania, and Kosovo each have tariffs of 10 percent. Only five countries face higher US tariffs than Serbia: Laos (48 percent), Madagascar (47 percent), Vietnam (46 percent), and Sri Lanka and Myanmar (both at 44 percent). According to Trump, the plan sets a standard 10 percent tariff, mirroring existing tariffs on American products.
