Macedonia and Bulgaria are collaborating to support victims of a tragic nightclub fire in Kochani that claimed 59 lives, through a humanitarian football match scheduled for April 27 at the Spartak Stadium in Varna. The “Nationali 94” Foundation, in partnership with the Municipality of Varna, is organizing the event, with all proceeds going towards the treatment of those affected by the fire.

The Bulgarian team will feature numerous players from their 1994 World Cup squad, coached by Dimitar Penev with assistant Krasimir Borisov, including confirmed participants such as Hristo Stoichkov, Borislav Mihajlov, and Emil Kostadinov, alongside other former national team players.

Macedonia is currently finalizing its team roster, with Gjoko Hadzievski as coach and Goran Pandev as a confirmed participant, with additional well-known players from the post-independence era expected to join.
