Basketball insider Shams Charania announced that Carmelo Anthony will be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Anthony played 19 seasons in the NBA, earned six All-NBA selections and participated in ten All-Star games. He also won three gold medals with the US Olympic team.

Anthony spent eight years with the Denver Nuggets and six years with the New York Knicks, and also played for Oklahoma City, Houston, Portland, and the Los Angeles Lakers.
