Allegations of High Incomes and Self-Interest Against Trade Union Leaders

VMRO-DPMNE accuses trade union leaders Ivan Peshevski and Slobodan Trendafilov of hypocrisy, alleging they prioritize high salaries and personal gain over workers’ rights, and that they are not to be trusted.

The party claims Peshevski’s salary is significantly higher than the minimum wage, despite his public concern for workers and his raising of minimum wage issues.

Whistleblowers have revealed Peshevski’s earnings, including additional income from contracts, totaled 1.3 million denars in the past year, an amount allegedly exceeding what a worker in his union could earn in four years.

VMRO-DPMNE argues that Peshevski and Trendafilov’s actions demonstrate a focus on personal enrichment rather than genuine advocacy for workers’ rights, and that people no longer believe that they care.
