Recent rainfall caused the Markova River to overflow, leading to flooding in several areas of Skopje, including homes, businesses, and roads.

The most affected areas include the villages of Studenichani and Batinci, as well as parts of Pintia. A section of Boris Trajkovski Boulevard near Pintia is also flooded.

Emergency services, including local municipality teams, fire protection units, and public enterprises are responding to the situation.

Road closures are in effect on the local road from Gorno Lisiche to Dolno Lisiche and at the first bridge in Batinci.

Public transportation is also affected, with bus routes 70 and 33 rerouted. Railway traffic is interrupted between Lisiche and Drachevo, with passenger traffic diverted through Trubarevo station.
