Foods That Can Help With Weight Loss

Losing weight often involves striving for weight loss through physical activity goals, a process that requires dedication to proper nutrition and regular exercise. Eating less and exercising more generally leads to achieving your ideal weight. While reducing food intake seems straightforward, certain foods can aid weight loss by promoting longer-lasting satiety.

Nutritionist Luke Hanna identified nine foods that can assist in fat reduction, including a surprising addition. These foods contribute to a prolonged feeling of fullness, potentially reducing the urge to overeat throughout the day. Recommended additions to your diet include white fish, oatmeal, chicken, Greek yogurt, popcorn, fruits, whole grain pasta, and fiber-rich vegetables like broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower.

Hanna also suggests incorporating potatoes, prepared healthily through boiling or baking, not frying. A study in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition supports this, revealing that potatoes had the highest satiety index, seven times higher than croissants, when compared to white bread.
