The “Vredi” coalition has called upon Kreshnik Bekteshi, the former Minister of Economy from DUI, to demonstrate his innocence in the “Puls” disco license case in Kochani.
Despite being political rivals, “Vredi” states they do not wish to see any Albanian held responsible for the tragedy in Kochani unless proven guilty by judicial authorities. They emphasize that such decisions are the purview of the courts, not political figures.
“Vredi” further asserts that DUI has become a party primarily focused on defending its former officials, even to the point of considering boycotting local elections and instigating a political crisis.
The coalition questions DUI’s concept of “the system,” highlighting the party’s long involvement in various governments and pointing to alleged instances of corruption, selective justice, and impunity for officials. They reference specific cases such as the modular hospital fire in Tetovo, the Laskarci bus accident, and the Besa Trans scandal.
“Vredi” concludes that DUI’s efforts to maintain power and portray itself as a key player among Albanians are ultimately futile, predicting the imminent political demise of its corrupt leadership.
