VMRO-DPMNE criticizes SDS for reacting negatively to the Ministry of Interior’s actions instead of acknowledging the state’s need to combat abuse. Valentin Manasievski, a member of the Central Committee of VMRO-DPMNE, stated that SDS’s reactions stem from a lack of genuine policy and practical solutions.
Manasievski highlights SDS’s past tolerance of DUI’s alleged misconduct, including involvement with criminal activities in Skopje, contrasting it with their current criticism of arrests of individuals acting irresponsibly.
Manasievski accuses SDS of hypocrisy, suggesting they criticize the Ministry of Interior regardless of whether arrests target individuals associated with VMRO-DPMNE. He asserts that such behavior will not deter VMRO-DPMNE from fighting corruption, which he describes as a major problem for Macedonian society, allegedly exacerbated by SDS’s past governance.
