The Democratic Union for Integration (DUI) is urging the government and the Ministry of Interior to provide complete transparency concerning the security agency “Rubicon” and its involvement in the tragic event in Kochani. The DUI believes this agency, allegedly connected to the ruling party, bears responsibility for security at the Kochani cabaret where 59 lives were lost.
The party is demanding answers from the government regarding “Rubicon’s” other clients, the existence of security agreements and licensed providers, and whether the Ministry of Interior has conducted inspections of the agency. The DUI also questions if the company is shielded due to government ties and allegations of blackmailing companies for hire by leveraging connections to high-ranking party officials.
DUI argues that the government should focus on accountability for its failures and those genuinely responsible for the tragedy, rather than targeting political rivals. The party insists on a thorough, impartial, and fair investigation into the matter, ensuring accountability for all who contributed to the situation. DUI emphasizes that the public deserves the truth, not political manipulation and scandal cover-ups.
