Stojanche Kashikovski, president of the union of workers from the hospitality, tourism and communal-housing economy, allegedly receives substantial income beyond his regular salary, according to information from whistleblowers within CCM (presumably a trade union). MP Brane Petrushevski of VMRO-DPMNE stated that Kashikovski’s total income in 2023, incorporating both his salary and other earnings, exceeded 810,000 denars.
Petrushevski further asserted that Trendafilov, along with associates, may have comparable or even greater incomes. Disgruntled CCM whistleblowers claim that Trendafilov and those surrounding him have transformed the union into a personal enterprise.
These individuals are accused of prioritizing their positions by aligning with SDS (presumably a political party) who allegedly appointed them illegitimately. According to Petrushevski, these union leaders purportedly deceive workers regarding the minimum wage while simultaneously drawing salaries from the union that are significantly higher.
