A minor was arrested last night after hitting a police officer with a moped and being found in possession of green plant matter.

The incident occurred when the minor was stopped for inspection by Negotino Police Department officers. The minor then started the moped, hitting an officer, before being stopped again. Upon further inspection, suspected green plant matter was discovered and confiscated from the moped.

In a separate incident, D.S. (29) from Kavadarci was arrested by Kavadarci Police Department officers following a report of assault and property damage. T.S. (62) from Drenovo reported that D.S. blocked his vehicle, behaved aggressively, damaged the vehicle, and physically attacked him on “Vidoe Smilevski Bato” street in Kavadarci.

The minor was interviewed at the police station with a parent, lawyer, and social work representative present. D.S. was detained at the police station. Public prosecutors have been notified in both cases, and appropriate reports will be filed after documentation.
