SDSM has strongly criticized VMRO-DPMNE for staging what they describe as a “shameful party performance” in Prilep. The opposition party claims the event, led by Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, was a display of hypocrisy and a misrepresentation of the country’s economic realities.

Petra Lukaroska from SDSM highlighted Mickoski’s comments on economic growth, labeling them as an “unprecedented tragicomedy.” She accused the Prime Minister of misleading the public about salary increases, citing Eurostat data indicating a decline in living standards and worker wages in North Macedonia.

SDSM further criticized Mickoski for failing to address critical issues such as corruption, the Kochani tragedy, the country’s significant debt, illegal construction, and mafia clashes in Skopje. They believe these issues are of greater concern to the public and warrant immediate attention.
