An individual from Ohrid is facing criminal charges after police discovered illegally possessed weapons during a search of his residence.

A.D., 27, from Ohrid, has been charged with “Unauthorized production, possession, brokering, and trading in weapons and explosive materials,” according to the Ohrid Police Department.

The charges stem from a court-ordered search of A.D.’s home in the village of Sirula, where police officers found two hunting rifles and one air rifle.

The suspect did not have the required permits for these weapons.

Authorities also seized weapons for which A.D. did possess the appropriate permits.
