The “Centar Symphony” brought together residents of Skopje last night for an evening of Macedonian and international film music. The event, a first-time initiative by the Municipality of Centar, featured a performance by music star Aleksandar Tarabunov and a chamber orchestra.

Mayor Goran Gerasimovski expressed his appreciation to the attendees from Centar and the broader Skopje area. Spectators enjoyed well-known melodies from both Macedonian and global cinema, including pieces such as “Rise Up Delfina,” “Where is my Song,” “To Balchak,” and “Beautiful Maria of my Soul.”

During the “Centar Symphony,” Tarabunov also presented his new song, “Together,” accompanied by the chamber orchestra.

Gerasimovski stated that Centar remains a hub for cultural events. He highlighted the unifying effect of the “Centar Symphony,” noting that people sang film melodies together near the City Wall. He also announced plans for more cultural events throughout the summer, with details to be released in the future.
